WENDY ADAMSON

Author • Speaker • Activist

As someone who has experience with incarceration and homelessness, Wendy knows what it’s like to be marginalized within our society. So, when Wendy got sober over twenty-five years ago, she naturally wanted to make an impact on individuals who were underserved. While she spoke in juvenile halls, prisons and high-schools, she found herself wanted to do even more. So, years later when her son founded a grass roots organization that delivers tennis shoes to the homeless and at-risk youth, she immediately got involved. Using her experience in marketing strategies and writing skills, Wendy has helped transform Hav A Sole into a thriving organization that not only promotes kindness but helps to celebrate Los Angeles as a connected and caring metropolis by building community through volunteerism.
